Klingon Recruit warrior's blood and hunters instinct bug

I have a klingon recruit and i am experencing a bug with the kill tracking for warriors blood and hunters instinct that is not making any progress. I am stuck at 288 melee kills for warriors blood and 1055 ships destroyed after decloaking for hunters instinct. I've tried TFO's, missions, patrols, and free roam, with no luck.
I submited a ticket and was asked to come here and post a thread. thanks.

It started working the day after I put the ticket in, but now has stopped all progress again.

For warrior's blood it appears melee kills by bridge officers don't count toward total. I went to Nimbus near the stronghold, equipped everyone with melee weapons, and started killing groups of orions. I tested if I just let the BO's get the kills and the count didn't go up. I then had them stand away from combat and killed the orions alone. My count DID go up. This was on an Engineering recruit. I prefer getting the kills on a Tactical seeing as they can equip the Lunge and Sweeping Strikes modules which make getting the melee kills much faster.

For Hunter's instinct (playing the same Engineer) I went to the Dyson Sphere contested zone. Flying a ship with a battle cloak and with the best Fire at will skill you can use, go to the Industrial zone at north part of the map. Find the group of Fed science ships for the local mission Rescue Research Vessels. Don't take the mission just start killing the Swarmers and Iconian probes. Cloak and de-cloak as often as you can while activating Fire at will. The Swarmers and probes take very little damage to destroy so your count should go up pretty quick.

BTW I tried both of these suggestions tonight 9/1/2024 and they were working on Xbox. PS4 should be using pretty much the same build. If I had the system I'd test it, but I don't Both systems usually have the same bugs and hiccups, however.

Put in another ticket, It was working for a few days and now warriors blood has stopped counting melee kills.
