Accidentally sold weapon

About 2 weeks ago I accidently sold a Pulse Phaser cannon from an Undiscovered lock box, because when I selected the ship that had it equipped the game pulled that cannon off the ship and put it in my inventory. I then accidently sold the weapon when I mistook it for another junk weapon that I did want to sell.

The Cannon was Very Rare Mk XI.

You can try contacting support about recovering the item, but I doubt they'll really be able to help you. It's best to ALWAYS turn on the protected option on anything you want to keep. Because once you change maps items can't be bought back from the replicator.
