It's hard to believe that this bundle, as a brand new item, immediately received a higher 35% discount after its initial 25% off. Obviously, more patience means greater discounts are reasonable, but the initial discount has just ended. This means that for those who make a purchase in the first place, obtaining it just half a month in advance will require paying an additional 100 zen for each day. This is ridiculous, everyone who buys this bundle for the first time is like a clown, including me. I cannot understand why you made such a decision, but I think that loyal players who purchase the new bundle in the first place should at least receive the same discount as they do now.
Agreed. This policy of 25% at release then 35% just a few weeks after has always boggled me. It should be the other way round, but they won't refund you the difference.
"You don't want to patrol!? You don't want to escort!? You don't want to defend the Federation's Starbases!? Then why are you flying my Starships!? If you were a Klingon you'd be killed on the spot, but lucky for you.....you WERE in Starfleet. Let's see how New Zealand Penal Colony suits you." Adm A. Necheyev.
Yes, the way they handle new bundle release sale is messed up now. Years ago, many of the new release bundles were on sale at 50% for a short time others released at 35%. Now with the 25% off release sale it's better to wait till the bundle sale to get the 35% off. This is what I did with the Legendary First Strike Bundle. So, a little patience saves you 10%.
Years ago, when a new bundle was released, it was at 50% off.
As far as I recall, only the Mudd's Bundles and a few of the Legendary Bundles have had such a discount.
Regular bundles, such as this one, haven't had it.
Anyway, I do agree that the 35% sale coming right after the 25% discount ended was not timed well. Another month or so down the line would have been a better wait.
Yet, none of us are asking: "Why are they trying to 'drain' our Zen right now?"

Yes, it was the Legendary Captain bundles that were 50% off.
The New Genesis Bundle was one of the 35% off at initial release.

They appeared very unprofessional in every aspect of this bundle, and I can't remember how many problems arose with the Miracle Worker specialization in Achilles. I think there were at least 4-5 of them

I can only think of two with the Achilles: Missing console (already fixed) and slipstream.
This has been their marketing strategy for several years so it really shouldn't come as a surprise. They get more from the people that want it now and then offer a better deal later to entice the hold outs. That is why I never buy anything on initial release. It has also led me to not buy bundles that I was initially excited for but after waiting decided that I really didn't want it after all.

Everyone knows that 25% is not the best discount, but usually larger discounts don't come so quickly. From the perspective of transactions, this will take at least a few months . I am willing to pay 10% of the price for this period, but there is no doubt that it came too quickly this time

Edit:
Ach, double post - sorry about that.
