Mirror Event

Whatever happened to the mirror event? last it was on 2022. I loved playing it. Will it return?

    Mirror event? Was that the one with Obisek and the Romulan space station?

    It the one when we have to fly at 4 or 5 power station to power up the Romulan republic station defenses, The mirror ships keep coming in, trying to destroy the station.

    Terran Empire Incursion, also known as "Mirror Invasion"?

    We haven't seen it since 2018, not 2022.

    When the "Cardassian Struggle" storyline was last updated, the new overall storyline didn't fit in with the Terran Empire Incursion Event. Thus, the event has been 'retired' from active service.

    A disappointment, as I don't really see how it doesn't fit.

    In fact, the "Cardassian Struggle" storyline hardly has anything to do with the Cardassians any more!

    No idea if or when it will return. Supposedly from what I remember it was taken out to fix some issues with it, but so far hasn't been added back. I've also hear people saying they were making a completely new event type. So it depends on who and what you believe as to whether it will return or not.

    It was most likely removed because alot of folk kept afk'ing it as it had no penalty system at that time and a few were bemoaning the fact they had to fight off NPC's for 5 minutes before the next phase kicked in.

    I think they should be rotating all of them, even if it's for a weekend

    Mirror event? That brings back fuzzy memories. I can vaguely remember playing it but it's been so long I can't tell whether I should miss it or not.

    To be honest, there's no point in even reviving the TFO. All folk will do is pop the squiddy's console over the Starbase and AFK it. It was worth playing when folk didn't AFK it and get the SB killed.

    I wouldn't be surprised if it got replaced with the Jupiter TFO.

    The one thing I liked about the Mirror Event was that the type of ship you were in had an effect. Science vessels would close the portals faster while cruisers would transfer power to the satellites faster.
