Point Defense System console visuals are broken

The problem: The point defense console visuals have been broken since the new bundle/event launched and originally i thought the console wasn't working all together but a friend showed that its a visual bug (videos attached).
What I've done: I have taken off the console and put it back on, ive taken off the other set pieces and just used it solo, I've restarted my game multiple times and the issue still persist and the video from the friend shows that its not just me but other players too.
