in PS4 Gameplay Bug Reports
I have encountered a bug that initiates combat with a navigation beacon when I try to initiate vip mining voucher.

    Initially I thought it was because of the Tholian kit module combat pet, but I unequipped it and it still started red alert combat ui

    And I don't know why they sent me a link to report in ps4, I play on Ps5, dunno if that makes a difference.

    No, it makes no difference. It is the same version number on both PS4 and 5.

    You should be aware that STO was built for the PS4 and there is a disclaimer on the Playstation web site in relation to PS4 games on PS5 which reads as follows. ...

    Although many PS4 games are playable on PS5 consoles, some functionalities that were available on the PS4 console may not be available on PS5 consoles. In addition, some PS4 games may exhibit errors or unexpected behavior when played on PS5 consoles.

    This is true, but the original report, while lacking detail in its' conciseness, is definitely a bug within the game rather then playing on PS5.

    No difference, really - they are both playing a PlayStation4 game.
