Summer Event Buyout Gone After Incorrect Date Given

When an event ends in Star Trek Online the option to still obtain the event's grand prize remains open in the form of the Event Buyout. Rather than by playing the event to obtain daily progress, you can pay 1,000 Lobi Crystals instead, with that cost of 1,000 going down by 50 for each day of daily completion you managed to get before the event ended. So for example if the event ended and I was only shy 1 point, it'd only cost me 50 Lobi. Life was busy around the time of the summer event last year and I only managed 2 days of progress, so my buyout was 900 Lobi. I had around 400 Lobi at the time of writing my original ticket, and was gonna pay the buyout once the DELETE ALT CONTROL Borg event (which awarded 500 Lobi) ended. The Summer Event page stated that the buyout option would remain open well after said Borg event ended, sometime in December, but than with no warning it was simply gone. The "you have until this time to buyout the reward" date listed was incorrect, and had I known it would be ending when it did I likely would have opened a few more lockboxes to get the Lobi instead. I would like to request for the buyout option to be returned, since I'm certain I'm not the only person who had their plans thrown off by the sudden disappearance, or for the required Lobi to maybe be removed from my account in exchange for the account-wide ship unlock that the buyout would have given me. Had the listed date been correct I wouldn't be asking, it'd be my fault at that point, but seeing as how the wrong date was provided I don't believe it's fair for the option to simply be gone now with no real warning. This report is being submitted here at the request of a Game Master by the name of GM Mimosa whom I've been in communication with via a STO Support Ticket, and I have been requested to provide relevant links as they were shared in said ticket, which I shall do below. When asked if I had screenshots of the issue I said no, as at the time I hadn't thought much of it, taking a picture of the date never occurred to me, though I did provide a link to a discussion of the topic from the r/sto subreddit where several people were talking about the same issue. The link to that discussion shall be attached to this ticket. A link to THIS ticket shall be given to GM Mimosa as they requested. Any help would be greatly appreciated

The 2023 Summer Event buyout expired on Dec 5th, 2023.

The fact that it still showed up ingame for the past 6 months is the problem.
