Probably the sort of attitude you display in the title of this thread. Rub enough people the wrong way, and the mutes add up to a 24-hour chat ban. Happens a lot during the Lohlunat Festival.
One day isn't a long time in the grand scheme of things. No idea what brought about the ban, but maybe accept one's conduct crossed the line in some way and endeavour not to repeat it in the future.
No, the attitude is they can just shove a sock in my mouth without explanation and I'm going to say "yeah sure that's cool.'?
While i cannot say this with a degree of certainty, many games have automatic censor for offensive language/words in chat to keep communication suited for all ages.
Many of these systems apply an automatic X hour ban if there are too many censors in short amount of time.
This can be due to offensive language or use of Non-English language.
Moderation is usually not discussed though.
Posting while hot under the collar, as displayed here, also tends to be inadvisable.
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.
I've replied to a previous ticket so at least I should have a line of communication with them, which is what they should have established first before punishing people. Especially ones who go out of their way to defend in chat.
Have you contacted support about the ban? Not that it'll help much, but it might give you an idea of why the ban was imposed.
^^ This is exactly what we players should be doing when something like this affects us.

Since this is resolved I'm going to go ahead and close this for now. /closed

Overreacting isn't likely to help matters.
