RIGHT TRIGGER NOT WORKING PROPERLY

I’m experiencing an issue with my character Gojira@Gojira1479 where the right trigger is not firing the weapon during ground combat. Instead, the function only works when I use the "B" button. I've tried different controllers, but the problem persists only with this specific character. The right trigger works normally on the command wheel and in other screens, and I have confirmed that the controls are correctly mapped. This issue does not affect any of my other characters, and I have attempted using different controllers as well.

    I too am having the same exact issue. It only occurs for ground combat. I cant remember the last time i was able to fully participate in a ground TFO. Are there any fixes for this?

    By any chance, have either of you used a keyboard to 'play' the game at any point, or to type in the game chat?

    Yes, I just came back here to mention this. I'm wondering if I did something that remapped the right trigger, which is equivalent to the "1" on the PC skill tray. Any idea how to fix that?

    Have you tried unplugging the keyboard then going to options then Revert to Defaults by pressing "Y"? I had an issue one time where my camera was acting strangely because I had pressed one of the keys that would change the view distance. Reverting to Default fixed it.

    Thanks for the suggestion. I tried this, however it did not correct the issue.

    Ever since they added the new tfo bit, ALL my ships beam array do not work. All i can do is fire torpedoes. Anyone else have this issue?

    I play with a keyboard and after this last update my UI lost its stuff... I mean game was unplayable. I solved all the new problems and some old ones by spamming defaults...

    on each individual option tab hit Y to restore default. Log out of character, test, do it again. ALSO, on keyboard hit f12 then shift+esc. If this doesn't do the trick see if you can fire from keyboard, if you can check your xbox controller settings and see if you have anything attatched to your RT. I personally play on an elite controller and I can't put functions/maps on buttons or they act up. I use a 3rd defaulted profile for STO. The main thing it might be is a trigger stop function, or activation point function, if you are on 50% fire may not activate.

    There are a few work arounds for space but I am not sure if they work for ground as well...

    From what I can tell it looks like somehow player options were linked across characters then unlinked or something weird... Like defaulting one would default all, and in some cases one would only default itself... When I defaulted all was how I fixed all my older issues... Like chat box deletion and stuff... I spent 10 hours on my UI today and it is absolutely polished, I can't wait till my next session... I just hope nothing breaks between now and then... Side note the only thing I couldn't fix was the trait UI which has been broken since t8..... Please god fix that seizure fest already deaf ears.
