Taking Fall Damage From Ziplining in Dragon's Deceit

There's a point where you need to zipline down to an outcropping, but for some reason, it automatically applies instantly lethal fall damage ("77,337 physical damage (fall)"), despite me obviously ziplining rather than falling.
