New feature request: ARC keys for players that used Steam to create accounts

The ARC keys seem to be a promo type of thing that helps ARC out. They are limited to players that did not use Steam to create an account.
The most straight forward was would be to add a place to into ARC keys inside STO like Boarderlands. That way no one is exclude and more people can help ARC out with the promotion they are a part of.
The other option is to be able to link the two accounts.
I have been playing for a while and I am enjoying the game. I do not want to look the progress and/or the ships I have received from completing events. So for me just using the ARC account is not an option.

I would also like the ability to either link accounts or allow transfers. Currently Steam feels like a trap for new players to fall into. Since it appears that all promos exclude Steam users. I am currently trying to decide if I restart on Arc or just stop playing and go play a different game...

@pyredragoon#6165 not gonna knock you for it, but please avoid nercoing any threads in the future. Anything older than 30 days, unless its a bug, is generally a no go.

Also not all promos exclude Steam users. We've had many in game that were given freely through the C-Store, like the Protostar uniforms. And there is a way to use Arc Promo Keys without using the Arc Launcher. I can't remember exactly how to do it through a browser. Might have to ask one of the other mods, such as baddmoonrizin or darkblade. If you have any questions please feel free to ask one of us mods.
