Latest RA (Red Alert) : Ultimate Tech upgrade not received.

Hello there,
During the latest mission of the most recent RA (Red Alert) event, I opted to warp out the mission to then select the mission rewards either on Earth spacedock or in interstellar space, just outside the Sol system (Unfortunately, during the event both spawnpoint results have occurred automatically).
However, upon selection of the mission rewards, the ultimate tech upgrade - Including the dilithium reward - Was not generated.
No 'ultimate tech upgrade' item appeared either in the R&D tab, inventory, nor in any upgrade screen.
I've contacted support in the meantime and filed a ticket, however after several back and forths the issue at hand could not be resolved by them. They referred me to here, and in addition "...to post an official bug-post in the official STO bug report forum section".
So, here I am.
