Let's start with a quick summary:
I have noticed that pretty much all of the new ships from the 14th Anniversary Bundle AND the Alliance Rex Pilot Escort
have problems with the symmetry of buffs like Kemocite-Laced Weaponry.
Ship models affected:
- Ahwahnee
- Atlantis
- Challenger
- Chekov
- Springfield
- Princeton
- Nigara
- Alliance Rex
The Tamarian Deep Space Cruiser has some similar issues too, but I'll tear that one apart some other time.
So, now a bit more thoroughly.
This is what I found on the Ahwahnee:
Just 2 Array Nodes on the right ventral (top) side are switched around, not much of an issue, should be a quick fix.
I'll ignore for now that Dual Beam Banks fire from the top Torpedo pod and like to shoot THROUGH the Bridge.
Might be better to have them fire from the visual arrays that are on top of the pylons.
Also, those 4 very prominent (weapon?) ports at the front of the saucer go entirely unused, a shame really.
And then I looked into the Atlantis ....
Oh boy.
The following images took me a few hours to compile and I dearly hope you all can make sense of them.
So ... yeah.
I was originally gonna do this level of diligence for all the ship I listed up top, but I don't have time for this today.
I will return to this over the next few days and add what I can.
I implore you all to add your own findings on the issue
