Missing Admiralty Ship on one character

I have unlocked the Assimulated Cruiser admiralty card on my account. One character I just unlocked the Admiralty system on can't claim the card. It says the character already has it but does not.
I contacted support and the result is bug found but told to post this on the forums instead of it getting fixed.

    If you got the account unlock, it was from the First Contact Day giveaway in 2016.
    The 'claim' from the Z-Store doesn't go to your Admiralty Roster immediately, but instead appears as a box in your Inventory, which could even have been moved to your bank. It might be worth having a look for this box:

    Already checked that but not in inventory. But got it from the FC Day 2016

    You are looking for the Assimilated Assault Cruiser, and not just an Assimilated Cruiser?
    It should be down near the bottom of your list.

    I have the same issue on one of my characters ..
    Unable to claim it from the promotions , no box in inventory of bank, no ship in the admiralty list.

    As this is an old Temporal Recruit on my account, i suspect something happened with the item box in the past .. and the ship card was not attached to the admiralty list at the time.
