So on a previous thread that mention event reward, someone asked if parts of this ship will be available to use to customize defiant class ships and defiant class parts be able to be use to customize this ship. Does anyone have a answer to that? i would also like to know if i going to have extra design options. In the long run getting the ship either way but a nice bonus if more customizable.

Parts will not be interchangeable with the Defiant. Or the Bugship.

So, per the tool tip, all the summoned ships have their quads, but the Actual ship isn't equipt with AP quads? Who dropped that ball? Or is it going on another legendary?

As of right now there is no Quad AP. Will there be one with the new ship? Don't know. Last I heard Kael was going to ask about that after the recent livestream.
As of right now there are only Quad Cannons for the four faction damage types: Phaser, Disruptor, Plasma, and Polaron.

It's a disappointing omission, but understandable that something as useful as AP Quad Cannons isn't going to come on a free ship.
Now, we've had unique equipment before:

• The Dyson Science Destroyers had unique cannons, secondary deflector and warp/singularity core;
• The Kobali Samsar had a unique warp/singularity core;
• The Krenim Science Vessel had a unique Torpedo launcher;
• The Lukari Ho'kuun Science Vessel also had a unique warp/singularity core;

...but none of these items are anywhere near as useful as Quad Cannons would be.

Do I want them? Yes!
Do I expect them on a free ship? No...
