Camera Zoom - Space (PC)

Anyone else have an issue where one of your character is still stuck with the old zoom distance while other characters can zoom out further in space? I've tried different ships, the "/setregionfov space" command, verified game integrity, and re-patched the game. Both my characters are set to 55 fov and using the same ship but one just can zoom out more than the other.
