Skins missing from my ships!!!

For what ever reason the skins appear to be missing from my ships. So the three effected ships are:
Dyson reconnaissance science destroyer
Mercury pilot escort
Bozeman intel heavy frigate

You have equipped a Shield that comes with a visual overlay.
You can disable it by opening the ship equipment screen and right-clicking the shield. Choose "Disable Visuals" from the menu, or perhaps look in the "Visuals" tab to see if there's something equipped there.

You can get better screenshots by using the "Print Screen" button on your keyboard.
I believe you can also type "/screenshot" in the chat box.
The screenshots will be saved in the game install folder.
