Nausicaan Bladed Boots

This is a bug that's been bothering me for a while now. At some point, the costume option "Boot Nausicaan 2" received a massive quality downgrade that's quite noticeable when put alongside images of the original.
The knee guard is misshapen compared to the original (right) and is lower on the boot, while the blades on the sides look smaller, untextured and far lower quality compared to the original. The boot's overall shape is different too, and the detail on the textures appears to be lower in general. It's almost as if the boot itself is missing a LOD or something. Is there any chance this could be fixed finally, or at least looked at?
