Trait stuck and un-useable

in PC Gameplay Bug Reports
I have a ship that has been upgraded to receive the new trait slot, a trait has gotten stuck on the slot with other ship that do not have that slot

I seems fine oh the third ship i tried but stuck on the Jarok carrier

    Have you tried dragging a new trait on top of the 'stuck' one?

    Yes the ship is not upgraded to XX (or what ever it is) so it wont let me
