weapon slot firing order

on autofire, to the slots fire left to right or right to left? I assume that for a torpedo ship, you want the longest cooldown torpedo first, then the next longest down to the fastest torpedo in the last slot to trigger?

They used to fire in the order that you activated the autofire in, most people seem to do that left to right, but turning off autofire for one weapon and turning it back on seems to change the firing order, not to mention that lag seems to have a hand in it too. In the heat of action it is hard to tell though, and that may have changed in the last time since anyone tested it with two players on a PvP map where they can just sit and watch the order they fire in (and I have not heard what the modern default order might be though I suspect left-to-right).
