I don't suppose we can skip the monotonous Jem haddar (Gamma) recruitment and go straight to Delta recruitment?
This program, though reasonably normal at times, seems to have a strong affinity to classes belonging to the Cat 2.0 program. Questerius 2.7 will break down on occasion, resulting in garbage and nonsense messages whenever it occurs. Usually a hard reboot or pulling the plug solves the problem when that happens.

Delta was already done for this year. I agree with your sentiment though, Jem'Hadar are at best very boring one-trick ponies RP-wise, and in my case they are even worse since I cannot get into the head of one of the things so using it is nothing but a tedious, odious grind. They are essentially a unit for roll-players rather than role-players.
Except for the first Gamma recruitment (the toon from which I only use in a few space-only things since the ship is nice), I just take a break from STO for the duration of the event (since horneytoads hold no interest for me whatsoever) except for any particularly good events that happen to overlap with Gamma (and I generally don't use the 'toad to do those).

Remember folks, existing Gamma Recruits get their bonus Dilithium trait reactivated during this event - it's not just for the new recruits.
I know, it's not much, but 'Every Little Helps', as Tesco likes to say...

Hmmm, I have participated in an earlier Jemmi recruitment, and the bonus stuff from the blurb sounds familiar (like Odo's Flagship for Admiralty), however my recruits don't have a gamma sign but a jemmi logo. Are these two different things even if with similar rewards and one can get some stuff double (like bonus mark unlocks) or just a new coating for the same event? Since they're called "Gamma Recruit" when talking to the Temp Agent, I assume the latter.

All of the recruitment events once you've done them tend to be annoying to a degree, more the later ones as you are dragged sideways through all the content. This one more so as for me the whole Gamma Arc is kinda dull. The missions are different, sure but they just don'r make me sit up and want to play them more than once unless I am after specific rewards. Swarm is bugged still and with all the other events running usually at the same time thereis only so much time anyone can give to these.

True, though for me the biggest problem with Gamma is that there is no decent character concept for the horneytoad, they are strictly one-trick ponies when it comes to concept because they have no background at all. If they had Vorta so it could be played in a canon style (all Dominion officers were Vorta) I could easily put up with the relative dullness of the arc itself.
They are bioconstructs grown in three days and all have identical (or at least near identical) programming and little or no understanding of anything outside of that pre-designated role (though some may develop a bit of it by the time they become elders). Everything is on the surface, they have no depth to them at all.
The Founders designed them as nothing more than biotech autonomous combat drones if you watch DS9 for the clues (I did that because I was running a DS9 tabletop RPG and had to know how everything fit together in the show, and Trekkies are the most detail-oriented players so everything in the game session had to be carefully researched to avoid endless debates). It is the Vorta handlers doing all of the thinking and giving their operations any subtlety and panache.
When I play an mmo I make a sort of persona for the character that I keep in mind (in other words sort of acting role) and going through the missions and whatnot from their differing points of view is what makes playing the scenarios interesting, and the Jem'Hadar either all have one point of view (and an uninteresting one at that) or none at all depending on how you look at it. Doing the missions with nothing but "See enemy! Sic 'em!" is dull and grindy in the extreme.
On top of that they are ugly as sin (and in a silly sort of way which makes it worse) and nothing improves their looks except stuffing them in a vacc suit (seriously, if the Voth heavy powersuit kit module could run all the time I would try that though undoubtedly the novelty of that would soon wear off) so even the Space Barbie aspect is dull at best with them.
That said, the Jem'hadar do have some nice abilities and I can understand how to some players play for the mechanical aspects of the game like it was Starcraft or some other strat and tac game but with a tighter focus and don't bother with the roleplay persona thing, but that is not something I go for personally outside of single-player strat/tac games (and even those I tend to make a different persona each run of the game for the 'overall commander' role the player assumes for those games to keep them fresh).

You should have a 'gamma' icon at the right-hand side of the character list, if you logged out on a ground map. If you logged out in space, it sometimes won't show up. The Transponder at the top-left of a 'sorted' Invenotry will be the giveaway that your character is a Real Recruit, though.

It's exactly the same Recruitment Event and if there's ever any new objectives added, they'll show up for previously-made Recruits too.

Added OR subtracted. For instance, the Delta recruit chain used to lead the player through all of the time-travel missions for some reason, and that included Spectres but then they switched the very well-designed Spectres arc out for the absolutely horribly designed mission Dust to Dust. So far, I don't think they have changed Gamma any but since I don't do Gamma (for lack of any interesting character concepts for it) I don't know for sure.

When the Spectres arc was moved to 'side-content' it and the other side-content missions were removed, yes.
Due to the main storyline having many new story arcs, several missions were added in to replace the ones removed.
Alas, nothing could replace the fantastically funny Delta-interactions at the end of mission "What Lies Beneath" and the beginning of "Everything Old Is New". I hate that we lost that.
