Map you were going to (if applicable): I was in Earth Space Dock and the First City
What the issue is:
Purpose: I have a few characters and to help me mentally keep track of all the capabilities of all the BOFFS, I make them all the same name, so for example, any BOFF named "Tanik" I know is a Photonic Temporal BOFF. There are 2 quest that give BOFFs as a rewards, one is a Kobali Eng/Command and the other is a Hierarchy BOFF Science/Intel, and so i have tried to keep their names the same across all of them characters, by renaming the BOFFS and their tailor outfits. Both of these BOFFS are quest rewards in episodes.

I have 2 issue:
1) For the Kobali Command Engineer when I try to rename the outfit its says "Outfit uses invalid parts".
2) For the Hierarchy Intel Science, the option to rename is greyed out entirely.
This is happening as I am trying to rename my BOFFS outfits in the tailor across multiple characters.

What steps you already tried when attempting to resolve your issue (if applicable):
For the Kobali, the initial name the BOFF comes with is the first name the outfit is given, then name I renamed the character to is in the parenthesis. When i click on the rename, enter my the name and hit OK, it shows and error “outfit uses invalid parts”. I suspect that in the background its doing some data checks and since I don’t have whatever outfits parts she comes with by default that I don't have and need for this set, it is failing, but since these are quest rewards NPC that come with custom outfits, I cant change much.

For the Hierarchy BOFF with his initial name as “Det”, I changed it to “Lar” and I cannot rename or modify his outfit, both greyed out completely.

As I recall, the Kobali and Heirarchy boffs cannot be edited in the tailor, which explains why they cannot be renamed.

The "Outfit uses invalid parts" error is due to parts of the Kobali armor having been moved around in the tailor categories. The outfit cannot find them where they were placed originally, and so produces the error message.

For the Hierarchy boff, that's working as intended. You cannot change the outfit name, because you can't edit the officer.

As for the Kobali boff, just hit modify again and accept and the name should fix itself back to what you changed it to.
