Really, I didn't know if I should post this here or in the general section but decided for here. Mod's feel free to move if you think this should be elsewhere.

Gang, we really need to use the search function before posting about bugs that pop up. I say this because lately there have been multiple bugs that developed that keep getting new thread started when there is already one covering the issue mentioned. Examples are the Sphere of Influnce console bug and Dust to Dust floor graphics issue. People keep adding threads on these issues that already have a post going causing the Mod's to have to merge the threads, some of them multiple times now.

Take a few seconds to search the issue you want to report and save the moderators some hassle.

Searching the issue can not be done without first finding it.

Are you really saying search for the issue then search the issue?

He's saying look and see if there's already a bug thread posted about your issue before you try and start a whole new thread on it. 🙄

You have to use quotes to narrow down your results. Like you can do using Google. Try that and see if the results change. Thanks.

Edit: I just did it myself and this announcement did not show up on page 1. These forums really to be updated to a newer version of Vanilla.

You can also narrow the search by date. Clicking on the black arrow to the right of the seach field.

This will show you newer posts instead on ones from 2010.

Though I'll agree the forums should be updated, but I doubt that'll ever happen.

I'm closing this for now because it's served it's purpose. Please continue to use the search function before starting new threads to see if your issue is already known. If you cannot find a thread with your issue, then feel free to create a thread for said issue. If you are unsure about starting a thread or have questions, you are more than welcome to reach out to the moderation team on how to proceed. Thanks. /closed
