Getting Winter Tribbles as loot drops from "No Win" Event

I'm now up to 6 winter tribbles dropping from the no win event.
They only drop on my character that I use for the Winter event.
Perhaps because he has winter food equipped, no idea.
Ticket made, asked to make note here for visibility.

I don't believe this is a bug. What can happen in sector space, missions, and apparently TFOs is you can get a random tribble which needs to be deleted. Tribble plus Winter Event food on person or in inventory equals a Winter Tribble. Best thing to do is to put Winter Event food in your bank not your inventory or on your person.

As mentioned above, you've a Stray Tribble somewhere in your Inventory or Bank that is eating its' way through a stack of Winter food.
Hence, you're building up a supply of Winter Tribbles.

I've done the same thing myself and have 43 Winter Tribbles on one character. I just can't bear to part with them either...
