New Trait Complex Plasma Fire is not working with all Plasma weapons

The new trait Complex Plasma Fire is meant to give a stacking Plasma DoT when the trait is trigger activated and the Plasma weapon hits the target. For Plasma Mines they show Complex Plasma Fire on the UI but no matter what combination I use the mines never apply Complex Plasma Fire to the target as they should. The trait is meant to work with all Plasma weapons projectile and energy.

Steps fitted Complex Plasma Fire trait. Triggered Complex Plasma Fire to plasma weapons via FaW and Scatter Volley. Watched as plasma mines and Corrosive Blast mines hit target and didn't triggered the Complex Plasma DoT. Tested with Plasma Torpedo's and these work fine just as we would expect. Only mines are not working.

What the issue is: Trait is not applying Complex Plasma Fire DoT to NPC when using Plasma Mine weapons. Shows on mine UI but doesn't trigger on NPC.
What steps you already tried when attempting to resolve your issue: Tested other projectile plasma weapons which worked. Tested Scatter Volley then dropped mines did not work. Next I waited till just before mines hit then triggered Scatter Volley. Did same with FaW no combination seems to work.
