Transwarp Coil to Bajor and Defera. Why?

I don't understand why we still need to buy Transwarp Coil from the Dill Store. Can we please remove the need for Transwarp Coil? Or at least make these locations part of the lifetime membership.

defera comes with omega rep. I forget how my mains got DS9, i think it was diplomacy ranking.

When Sector Space was revamped, much of the Fleet-based Transwarp destinations were changed. Whilst "Transwarp to Defera" comes from the Omega Rep, there was a second "Transwarp to Defera" and a "Transwarp to Bajor" added during that revamp. These destinations are dependent upon what level certain Fleet Holdings are at. They're quite useful on lower-level alts and they work perfectly fine up until your Captain reaches level 50, at which time they start to malfunction. Eventually they break entirely and only work when a Transwarp Coil is available.

...but they're not supposed to need a Transwarp Coil!!!

One further comment to make here is that when Sector Space was revamped, the time for "Tour The Galaxy" was supposed to be increased, but it wasn't - it remained at 15 minutes.

I don't go to Defera very often, but I often go to DS9 and use one of the "Message From..." missions to get there without needing the transwarp coil. The trick is to always leave at least one hanging instead of finishing it (though I suppose that could be a problem for some completionists).

I sometimes do the same thing for Drozanna Station, and Nimbus can be gotten to by way of the "Replay" tab without leaving a mission hanging.

Of course, the need for Kludges like that is a bad thing in itself and the free transwarp destination list really should be looked at and expanded to lower the time-wasting that a lot of casuals cannot afford as they shoehorn gameplay into busy IRL schedules.
