The Tormentor of the dead turns friendly.
I have restarted the mission twice, and exited and re entered 4 times, every time, he starts hostile, and instantly turns blue and untargetable.

    I've had this happen many times myself. Try closing the chat window that pops up when he spawns and moving away from him a bit then talk to him. In my experience being right on top of him when you complete the dialog bugs him out.

    Just tested this again and the big guy turned hostile on the first try. However, I had to fight the space battle in orbit twice because the game didn't give me credit for killing the dreadnought.
