Unable to switch to Klingon shuttle

As a Klingon (Orion female), I had bought an Aeon Timeship for a shuttle. With the cross-faction unlock, I figured it'd be no problem. And that ship unpacked just fine, and it got added to my ship roster. So far so good. Then the problems started: I couldn't press 'ready starship' at the Klingon shipyard. So I udocked and did a 'switch starship' there. And, in fact, it loads the Aeon Timeship... visually. I can see it in space, but cannot equip it, as 'U' shows the loadout of my main ship (even when I select the shuttle first).

So, I figured 'TRIBBLE this, I will simply use a Klink shuttle.' Now I can press 'ready starship' at the Klingon shipyard; so I did, and undocked. But same thing, to my shock. Even though I can now outfit it, the stations (5, all empty) are still from my main ship, with no way to set up the 1 boff station; nor an option to save a loadout.

Tl;dr: Klingon shuttle mechanic seems very broken, regardless of whether you use an official Klink shuttle or not.

Any chance you can share a screenshot of what you're seeing?

When you press "U" to bring up the character selection screen, you should be able to assign your crew in the "Stations" tab which has sub-tabs for your Ship and Shuttle.
Or at least, it should have sub-tabs...
