Bugged Romulan Refugee Doff

As I was told by GM Eriyaa (thanks for your efforts), here is a bug report concerning ticket 895471:

I have a green(uncommon) Romulan Refugee Doff named "Cil" on Roster. I don't remember when or how I got him unfortunately
(certainly not from exchange though, my characters only have "home-grown" doffs after some faction hic-ups on my main a few years back).
He can't be slotted in any Doff Assignment and also can't be donated to any fleet project.
The selection windows just don't show him, as if the Doff wouldn't exist.
Also can't dismiss him, getting an error message "This item is protected", even though that is not the case.
Tried switching protection status on and off a few times, no change.

You can't use him for Doff assignments because KDF or Fed can't use Romulan Doffs (except reward ones like Law). However, your not being able to delete him does sound like a bug. Have you tried mailing him to a Romulan character if you have one or putting him on the exchange?

Can you share a screenshot of the Doff window? When we can see what you see, we'll likely have a better idea of the problem.

This was already sent to CS and us in development. The player above bought/traded/obtained a Romulan faction locked doff somehow. Romulan/ Federation faction boffs are not usable by Klingons, this is intentional.
