I'm pretty sure the Mirror Universe is in some freaky form of quantum entanglement with the Prime, and it's probably Q's fault - Vance or someone or other from 32nd-century Starfleet did mention offhand to Mirror Georgeiou that incursions started tapering off at some point during the 26th or 27th century and the Mirror Universe itself started 'drifting off' at some point after that - which, if Q WAS responsible for it, would make sense considering he's now dead and can no longer keep the two universes linked.
A normie goes "Oh, what's this?"
An otaku goes "UwU, what's this?"
A furry goes "OwO, what's this?"
A werewolf goes "Awoo, what's this?"
"It's nothing personal, I just don't feel like I've gotten to know a person until I've sniffed their crotch." "We said 'no' to Mr. Curiosity. We're not home. Curiosity is not welcome, it is not to be invited in. Curiosity...is bad. It gets you in trouble, it gets you killed, and more importantly...it makes you poor!"
Passion and Serenity are one.
I gain power by understanding both.
In the chaos of their battle, I bring order.
I am a shadow, darkness born from light.
The Force is united within me.
I came back to catch up my main on all six missions released in, what, 2 years? And now I really don't care about STO. This was bad, and I don't trust no one anymore. I'll sign on, use my bonus zen to by my few remaining bros some keys every now and again, but even the most basic foundry missions were better.
I don't really keep track, but I highly doubt we've only gotten six episodes over the past two years. The latest arc alone already has six episodes.
Not quite, but not too far off. The last two episodes of Klingon Civil War were released in May 2021, then there're the six in the Mirror arc, like you said. So 8 in that time period.
Just my 2 quatloos, but I would love to see something besides galactic level threats and constant combat against wave after wave after wave of bad guys. It would be great to have a little exploration in a game based on an IP that has exploring strange new worlds in the tagline.
Same.
It's difficult to keep being impressed by the words 'galaxy-wide threat' (and similar denominators) when there have been so many of them - and my captain managed to resolve all of those just fine too.
It also doesn't help much with world building, which is - imo - one of the most important things of sci-fi. If you're always dealing with external threats, focus will stay away from internal matters, developments and descriptions of 'our' societies in general.

Agreed, maybe after dealing with the next galactic level threat (Borg in this case), maybe we can go back to dealing with Romulans, Klingons and Orions as well as exploring Strange New Worlds.

If we get more Temporal stuff, I hope we get more TOS ground content as a result, like imagine getting fedoras as a mission reward.
fr; we already have the 21st century formal wear and the tommy gun
