Weapon Firing Modes grant +75 to Exotic Particle Generators
While this trait is slotted, the starship enjoys a bonus to Exotic Particle Generators while under the effects of Cannon Scatter Volley, Cannon Rapid Fire, Beam Fire at Will, Beam Overload, Torpedo Spread, High Yield Torpedo, Dispersal Pattern Alpha, or Dispersal Pattern Beta.
...hmm, now I want a Trailblazer to use the trait for my science ships. Too bad Entwined Tactical Matrices only counts once, but it's great that all of the "standard" beam/cannon/torp powers activate it.
Note that I just copied the wiki text, I don't own one to test with myself. I wonder how the TS duration works since the torpedo fire is 1 short burst? BFAW and BO are 10 second duration.

I use the WEP trait on some of my sci ships. In the case of torp spread (and presumably high yield), the buff stays active for as long as TS is active. Once the volley is fired, the WEP buff expires. So firing your TS should be the last thing you do after your exotic abilities are all on cooldown.
