My Red Alert Ship Upgrade Token is Character Bound

The Red Alert token I got for the ship upgrade is bound to my character and therefore cannot be placed into my account bank to reside with its brothers and sisters that also live there. This is very upsetting for my token as it now has to live alone in my inventory or bank slot and cannot communicate with its siblings.
The Reward description clearly states that the token, cannot be traded or sold, can be traded to other characters on your account, however this is not the case and my token is feeling very disappointed and lonely. The character in question is Trillian Astra and you will see in her inventory a very lonely and sad character bound Ship upgrade token.
Yes, I know I could simply ready a ship that needs and upgrade and use the token but I'm not ready to do so just yet and my token wishes to meet her siblings first before starting her career as an upgraded ship.
