The Styx might convince some people to buy it after all, it remains to be seen whether getting it will require getting the full pack though, like they did with the Mirror Engle.
There was also the Cygnus style Galaxy-X.

With the Styx, I'm actually considering the bundle. The Mirror Crossfield wasn't a hard no, but it wasn't appealing. If it was just the Styx, I'd still probably be uninterested. With both... maybe. It's going to depend on the other four ships.
The mirror Aquarius is a Raider, and the Mirror Prometheus is a Destroyer (from a 10 Forward last year), The Mirror Nebula and Galaxy-X are question marks. If they're just a normal science ship and dread, then that's going to be particularly underwhelming.
The Crossfield is probably the Mirror Crossfield Science Destroyer (and people have been upset about that because, frankly, it's not a very good ship), with a Terran Glenn skin. But, we've never had hard confirmation that this was the Crossfield in the pack.
And, now we have the Styx (or something that looks like the Styx.)
A lot of the negative reaction came from the Crossfield reveal. From what I saw, a lot of people were hoping it would be the Mirror Constitution Warship, so getting the Mirror Crossfield was a sharp disappointment.
We don't have hard stats for anything yet (except for the existing box ships), so at least some of this is coming from a perspective of people expecting the new versions of the ships to be more of the same. The bundle could still be particularly worth it if some of those ships are significant departures from what we'd expect (like a Carrier nebula or FDC Galaxy-X.) But keep in mind, that's pure speculation.
From what I understand, some people think the Crossfield could get the Crossfield refit's "Universal Design" trait. But that would be really overpowered. And it is less likely, perhaps, with the inclusion of the Styx if it is the Styx.
Yeah, there were a lot of people who were desperately hoping that the Crossfield would turn out to be the Crossfield Refit and not the Mirror Crossfield. Technically, that is possible, but, given this is a mirror universe themed bundle, that always struck me as wishful thinking.

Yeah, me too. It does feel like a response to how poorly the Mirror Crossfield was taken. Which, fair. I've also seen some speculation that this was always the plan, which I don't think so, but I do suspect they had this lined up as a contingency in-case the response to the initial bundle was poor.
Admittedly I haven't been paying attention either and just waiting to see whats included in the bundle. I don't haunt Reddit or Twitter.
