I would not mind a DS9 Reboot, as long as it didn't have the JJ lensflare TRIBBLE
I doubt if CBS would be able to pull that kind of thing off.
At the time, DS9 was another Trek that pushed the envelope on social/philosophical issues rather hard but today none of the NuTreks push that envelope much (if at all) except where it comes to the use of foul language. While SNW makes a good effort to try for the TOS/Cage era feel, even it is very mild when it comes to pushing/examining those boundaries (space operas such as NuTrek are about adrenalin and eyecandy, and so tend push in those directions instead of soft-science issues like traditional Trek series did, so that is hardly surprising).
