I was thinking... perhaps it would be a good idea to allow all Federation starships to have the "S.S." prefix on their names for those who like to roleplay as a captain who bought a decommissioned ship for private use. After all, in real life, militaries have been known to sell surplus and outdated equipment and vehicles to other countries to supplement their own defenses, so why wouldn't Starfleet? Even in William Shatner's novel, The Ashes of Eden, (I know, not canon, but still) the Enterprise-A was sold to a non-aligned planet for defensive purposes. And even in canon, the Klingon Empire has been known to sell surplus ships... which is how some Ferengi got a hold of a pair of Birds of Prey in the TNG episode Rascals.
Or even better... allow the player to remove all markings like you can with the Vengeance (Dreadnought) class.
I can't take it anymore! Could everyone just chill out for two seconds before something CRAZY happens again?!

Well... we have seen a few Oberth class ships with non standard registry or prefix markings. I think the Vico was S.S. with an NAR registry.
True, but Space Barbie should include ship names. Free the tailor, free the ship prefixes, free us of the omni beam limitations, free everything!!! (If needed, also feel free to charge us for it.)
