Medical and shield generator not showing for ground tray

When I slot medical and shield generators on ENG alts, there is no icon to put them in the ground tray.
I've tried unslotting everything and only putting the generator module on and still nothing. It only seems to affect medical and shield generators, I haven't noticed other kit modules affected.
This occurs on 3 different ENG alts. All max level.
Anyone else?
