Federation Class Dreadnought

wondering if these can be a future TOS ship we can have ingame. I really love that class. Also a bunch klingon ships from Klingon Acacdemy from 2390s looked so amazing

The top one is a Franze Joseph design, and there was a feud between Joseph and Roddenberry for a while after the tech manual and deck plans came out, so the chances are not that good of STO being able to use it since their license is from CBS. They would have to negotiate with a third party for a separate license to use the design, and Cryptic has been burned by deals like that in the past.

Same with the bottom ship, and since it was likely a fan-built digital model they would have to do another special negotiation with whoever made it to use the "refit Federation class" or whatever they call it, so it is probably even less likely to appear ingame than the original Federation Dreadnaught.

Kael said in a recent livestream FASFA designs are still off-limit for Cryptic. So we will have to settle for the Atlas… The struggle is real.

Too bad about them not being part of the lineup, it'd be a pretty interesting concept.
