Event Campaign IV Progress Missing?

Hello. I have a question.
Since the beginning of Event Campaign IV, I've been reliably playing the events as they've dropped. Insofar as I know, I have not missed a single one. I just bought out The Feast, expecting that it would take me the rest of the way to completion on the Campaign. Instead, it has taken me to 3,474 out of 3,500 needed.
Which is sort of alarming when you think about it, because I've been working on this for the whole year.
No panic, because the event also says if you do the daily bonus rewards (after completing the event) you'll get Campaign points above and beyond what you'd get for merely completing the event. So I immediately ran such an extra. It granted me the bonus dilithium...but no more Campaign progress points. I am still stuck at 3,474.
So I'm hoping someone has some silly, little explanation like, "You can't claim bonus points on the same day you bought out the Campaign event with Zen".

That is reassuring. What will the nature of the fix be?
At the time, I wasn't told any specifics, but the patch notes are saying it should retroactively complete.
