Epic Widearc phaser cannon missing

Following a few email exchanges with GMs, as requested, I am posting a summary of my ticket report.
I replaced the Epic XV cannon with one bought on Oct 13th from the lobi store. Now however, the my old one is missing. It is not on the bank, inventory or equipped on a ship. I tried recovering it by loading a loadout that still had it (and I could see it darkened with the icon that said it was mounted on another ship), but the ship loadout change said that an error had occurred, and the space the slot the cannon would have occupied is now empty.
GMs could not find a record of a sale or deletion, but the item is now missing completely.
That said, I want to thank the support team, as they have been replying quite quickly to my messages.
