can't install undine console on undine ship

On an Undine ship (Undine Nicor Bio-Warship T5-U) while trying to move a universal Undine console (Fluidic Energy Focusing Array) from the engineering section to the tactical, it will not install. Now it will not go back in the engineering section either.
I was trying to move it because the tactical section has 5 slots, and engineering has 2. Now it won't go in either.
Support was no help, and told me to post it here.

It sounds like the bug a few consoles had when the T5-U tokens first appeared - the console doesn't recognise the T5-U version of the ship as a valid ship to be equipped to.
When T5, the console equips and when changed to T5-U, the console will stay equipped but remove the console and it no longer 'knows' it's supposed to be able to go on that ship.
A clear bug that needs fixed.
