Just as the title says - the Critical Deflection trait (reduces enemy's crit chance by either 50% or 75% for ranks I and II respectively) does not work after traits are invovled - it only affects the base critical chance.
Normally, this works as following:
Attacker has base of X crit chance (example, 20%)
When they deal weapon damage to the target ship, if the target ship has critical deflection active, that value is applied to the attacker.
Attack now has 20% * .75 = 5% critical chance (global) for 5 seconds, refreshed on each hit.
Note: Accuracy Overflow and other sources of critical chance such as the 10% from Weapon Emitter Overdrive (space trait) is NOT reduced by critical deflection. This was never an issue before, but now there are two traits in the game that offer complete 100% crit chance buffs (Shvhal's "Totally Lost All Control" and the Bozeman's "Temporal Surge") it is a bit of a problem.
The crit chance debuff needs to be moved to the end of the equation as a final modifier, so that it applies after all traits are factored in (another example, critical deflection doesn't reduce the crit chance of Particle Manipulator personal trait, used by many sci ships)
