Mission: Jabberwocky does not like the presence of the Marshal Janeway hologram

Or potentially any other hologram. I was running this mission on my KDF delta recruit, which is the ONLY toon that I'm using the Janeway hologram BOFF. I ran into a problem fighting Gul Kardek on mirror Bajor. Once it was discovered that he's a changeling, he would just vanish, and the mission couldn't progress. I tried numerous times to abort the mission and beam back down. I even dropped the mission entirely a couple times, but same result. The last time I aborted the mission, I noticed something off about the way the hologram Boff was flashing before beaming up. So for grins and giggles, I replaced HER on the landing party before beaming back down. This time the Kardek fight did NOT bug out, and I was able to complete it.

    I just tried to reproduce the problem on PC and Gul Kardek seems to have disappeared when I was using the Janeway BOFF. When I replaced her with another Hologram it resolved correctly. The third time I tried again with Janeway, turned off her attack and set her with a waypoint by the transporter so she wasn’t trying to borgify the poor Gul during the cutscene. The mission again stuck. I don’t know how a BOFF is breaking the mission, but it seems Ike it might be.

    Sounds like she might be assimilating him & turning him into an ally - which will break the mission.

    That is what I thought so I turned her to passive mode and made her stand on the other side of the map. So I am doubtful it is due to the assimilating attack. However, I can offer no better explanation.

    This is one of those bugs that
    1.) I hope gets fixed and
    2.) they pull back the curtain a little and tell us how it broke it and how they fixed it.
    My brain likes puzzles like this.
