I'm particularly drawn to the closing comments from Jason Haigh-Ellery: "I tried endlessly to talk David into doing a proper retrospective interview about his life and work – but he didn’t think he was important enough."
Alas, an opportunity sadly missed - he was definitely important enough!

One this month, recorded with his Partner Lisa Bowerman and one next year for the 60th anniversary, recorded with Christopher Ecclestone.

watched him in so many movies when i was a kid and growing up.
So sad that cancer had to take him..
