Aftermath of "Inventory Full" and Daily Event Progress bug

I was advised by GM Uzul that:
"Once the issue is resolved, the Daily Event Progress items in your inventory should be converted and added to the current event progress."

The issue is resolved, however I'm looking at a bunch of Daily Event Progress tokens in my inventory. Using one grants progress, but also activates the standard 20hr cooldown. I activated two more tokens but the progress bar did not increment.

1. Was the GM in error?

2. Am I now two days "down" progress, because of using the tokens?

By my count I should have progress completed, plus 3 days (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) of stacking Dilithium "post-completion" progress.

    First time I am hearing of this issue. What character has these tokens?

    There were a couple of threads about it while it was going on. It seems The endeavor clock was going backwards and daily events were producing these tokens rather than giving event progress. Affected players also we’re getting inventory full messages although their inventory wasn’t full. I think it was somehow fixed with the subsequent patch. I wasn’t affected though. It didn’t seem too widespread. I saw maybe 5 people talking about it on Reddit and maybe 2 or 3 here.

    They are, or were, split across several - I presume because the cooldown was never triggered after completing the daily.

    Narab has 1 remaining, after my experiment with manually claiming them.
    I would have sworn Ro'shin had some, but there's nothing there now.
    Marrone still has 1.

    My other characters didn't run a Risa event this year, so should have none.

    In terms of actual progression, the event was ran daily and progress awarded up until day 16 (screenshot is in the ticket), I kept running the daily and getting Daily Event Progress tokens on multiple toons, that could not be used, instead of completing my Event on time and starting to immediately progress on the Dil rewards (i.e. on the day of completion I would have immediately re-ran the Event so that I could get the first Dilithium bonus, as there's no timer triggered when you first complete the event).

    As of writing that should be full ship progress plus 4 days of Dil bonus, however right now I am still on day 18 ingame.

    Tickets are 772156 and a short-lived 774813 because I followed instructions to open a new ticket but it got flagged as a duplicate.

    Update 25 July - Daily Event Progress tokens are no longer in my inventory, yet I'm only on the step 3 bonus for Dil, when we're now coming up on a week since I would have completed the event :(
