My husband dusted off this old game, and when I was walking by I was thinking, That voice is SO familiar! so I watched for a while, and another voice was familiar...

If you are not familiar with the 2016 version, it's Narrated by Michael Dorn, and the Human leader is voiced by John de Lancie. I dug a bit, and Dwight Schultz also does a voice in the game. I thought it was pretty cool that the three were included .. if you are a SW fan, Mark Hamil also does a voice, and Alan Tudyk from firefly and Robert Englund are also in the game

I used to play the old version but didn't try the 2016 for what ever reason. In fact I might have all 3 games of the old series, 1 and 2 were good but don't bother with 3 it's a mess.

You'd be surprised where familiar voices can be found. In XCOM 2, we had Jonathan Frakes, Michael Dorn, Denise Crosby, John de Lancie, Dwight Schults, Marina Sirtis, and the voice that is everywhere Nolan North.

Hell... Michael Dorn voiced Mata Nui in the last Bionicle movie, alongside Jim Cummings, Dee Bradley Baker, and Armin Shimerman.

I wanted to mention XCOM2: War of the Chosen as well. It's filled to the brim with Trek alumni. Also, William Salyers, who should be known to people who watch a lot of animation.​​
