Malem Support frigates

If recently bought the romulan Support carrier for the purpose of being able to use the malem support frigates, i read on the wiki that these should be equipable on the scimitars, and found out they are not! I later discovered a patch note for pc from last august saying that these frigates are now equipable on the scimitars, but i couldn't find a similar patchnote for console, didn't we get that patch?
