On ships which have no loadout created, a "LoadoutOne" loadout is being created when switching away from that ship.
I've personally never had a need to create loadouts, so I know for certain that my ships did not have them prior to "Stormfall". I've only switched between a couple of ships since "Stormfall" released, and these are the only ships with this "LoadoutOne" loadout.
Steps to Duplicate:
These steps may be performed on an existing ship with no loadouts, or on a freshly generated ship, which would have no loadouts by default.
1. Start with a ship that has no loadouts. It can be a ship from before "Stormfall" released or a freshly generated ship.
2. If this ship is not currently the active ship, set it as active in the Ship Selector. Verify that the loadouts tab is still empty and displaying the text "This Starship has no loadouts."
3. Select a different ship in the Ship Selector and make this the active ship. Select the previous ship we just switched away from - a new loadout named "LoadoutOne" is present in the ship's Loadouts tab.
Expected Behavior:
Loadouts should not create until the "Save to..." option in the loadout tab is used to save to an empty loadout slot.
Additional Info/Observations:
-After this loadout is automatically created, I begin experiencing the equipment/trait related problems related to switching maps that others have been reporting.
-So long as a ship does not have a loadout, I'm not experiencing the problems with gear and traits unslotting or reverting to a previous state (naturally).
-I would really like the option to delete a loadout (mainly since I now have loadouts I don't want on some of my ships). I realize that's probably a feature request which would take time; thought I'd mention it though.

It looks like the problem I originally described is still around but in a different form more accurately described by what today's patch was supposed to fix...
Observations:
-Instead of being created when switching away from a ship, the "LoadoutOne" loadout is created when switching to a ship.
-Any gear slots populated with an item currently equipped on another ship or in inventory which should transfer to the ship become emptied out and gear must be manually added back in.
Steps to reproduce:
-Identify a ship with no loadouts in the ship selector and verify nothing is present in the loadouts tab for that ship
-Ready that ship to make it the active ship
-"LoadoutOne" loadout is automatically created and any gear slot that should be populated by a piece of gear currently on a different ship or elsewhere becomes emptied out.
