More character slots for accounts

I am wondering with both a Dominion and discovery character will there be an increase in available character slots as with one in each and 3 base ability types the whole 10 open slots doesn't seem like a viable thing to experience all the recruitment event types.

pretty sure they gave you a char slot for each expansion in addition to the recruit event

Yea I think one Recruit Events they even gave +1 again, perhaps multiple times. I know the original base was 3 originally only expanded to 7. It's possible if they wanted all people to explore all Factions with Delta giving +1 more each time it was run out to a max of 3, yet that still only be 9.

You can purchase additional slots - the 10 is just what you get for free.

Originally it was (I believe) somewhere in the 4-6 range, and then they added one each time there was a NEW recruit event (and I think one or two other times as well).

For Delta, there's three eligible factions and some of the account-wide reward lock conditions are faction-specific, so in order to get everything out of the event, you need to play three recruits, one of each faction.

It's possible though as Westmetals said, they may have expanded it by +1 another time or method as well. It does also allows everyone to fully explore all the Faction Classes with 3 Tac, Eng, Sci for FED, as well as for Klingon (6), and also Romulan (9); while still allowing room for 1 Jem Hadar as well.

And maybe that's why as well, though Delta I think it was done with the Recruitment; yet maybe it was offered something during Iconian, Future Proof, and New Frontiers. Gamma was also done with Recruitment as well, similar to iconian war.

You'd have to buy them likely going forward. I don't ever suspect they will give us more than 10 base. As explained above that's plenty for everyone to explore all Class in all 3 Factions and 1 Jem Hadar.

As I said - I'm not sure when, there were once or twice that slots were given other than this - but there was one slot given during the first run of each of the four recruit events.

There was also one given for the first rerun of Delta, but that was probably an oversight "corrected" in the rerun events that followed.
