Log in issues?

Has any one else have any problems trying to log in today?

I've been able to go as far as the character selection screen and would be booted to the log in screen after selecting a character and clicking the 'Play' button.

Is there something wrong with the servers or is it a denial of service type attack?

    Finally got in tonight (been trying all afternoon). For a moment my character I logged on to was standing in nothingness until the Solanae Dyson Command interior booted up.

    Sounds more local, as I don't think anyone had any problems or reported any.

    PC: once in awhile I get a black screen instead of the white Cryptic page. Ctrl-Alt-Del, Task Manager, kill "GameClient", try again.

    Console (Xbox): once in awhile I'll get "error connecting to server" but trying again works unless there really is an outage (check twitter).

    Both of those are before choosing a character. I can't recall getting booted after selecting a character.

    Thank you. I've been having issues with my modem recently, that may be part off the problem. There's been a new housing development across the street, which means more internet traffic.
