[The search] Decline beam out prevents progress

We did this mission in a group. We fought throught the ground part and when we were asked to beam out to the next part out we noticed we could interact with rocks on the other side of the room. So we declined but no option appeared to trigger the beam out again and the mission objectives listed switched to the next part even though we didnt beam out. We beamed back to our ships. When we entered the mission again it reset so we had to do the entire ground part again.

After saving nearby karemmans again there was no option to open the door.
